The Franchise Show (19th – 20th February) proved a hit with visitors, with thousands flocking to see the exhibits, seminars and franchise experts.
Upon arrival, welcome packs were issued to visitors brimming with information on the seminars and the various exhibitors attending, along with a handy venue map.
Visitors had the opportunity to browse franchises from a spectrum of industry sectors including business services, gardening, events, food and beverage and many more.
Ceri Rogers, Event Director of The Franchise Show stressed the value of exhibitions:
“The opportunity to meet the franchisors is priceless as if you’re going to go into business you need to explore the opportunity as best you can. Some of the visitors are here to find out what franchising is all about and the show works well for both types of visitors.”
The two day event included over 120 seminars spanning a range of different franchising topics. The seminars were divided into eight key categories:

- A day in the Life
- Why do businesses Fail and What to do about it
- Trading as a New Income Stream
The talks offered something for everyone and each audience was made up people from all stages of the franchise journey.
Expert 1-2-1 Appointments
The Franchise Show proved the ideal opportunity for visitors to get their questions answered with franchise experts with legal, financial and business knowledge in attendance. Over 120 appointments were available with experts throughout the day offering free and impartial advice. These included Leathes Prior Solicitors and Lloyds Bank, offering their advice and guidance to visitors throughout the two day event.
The exhibition proved a hit with visitors, providing them with access to a variety of business experts and an insight into all aspects of the franchise industry.
