2015 Best Franchise Award winners are ActionCoach, TaxAssist Accountants and diddi dance

The annual 2015 Best Franchise Conference proved a resounding success with attendees taking home trophies, certificates, and the odd green pepper…

ActionCOACH, diddi dance and TaxAssist Accountants stole the show, each receiving best-in-class.

The winners were awarded for their outstanding franchisee satisfaction. TaxAssist Accountants, diddi dance and ActionCOACH represent some of the best franchise opportunities in the UK.

The results were formulated from Smith and Henderson’s Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme. This programme uses anonymous feedback from thousands of current franchisees to rate franchise systems on everything from support to training.

Over 90 franchises took part in Smith and Henderson’s Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme. Franchises with high scores were also recognised at the event, each receiving a certificate for 5 Star franchisee satisfaction.

Throughout the day franchisees and franchisors shared their stories and learnings, leading insightful presentations and workshops.

Home care franchise Home Instead kicked off the presentations, sharing learnings from 10 successful years in business; ‘it’s easy to sell a franchise but it’s harder to find a partner.’ Home Instead CEO and co-founder Martin Jones,  stressed that ‘the number one objective of a business leader is communication’ and encouraged fellow franchisors to uphold a culture of communication.’


Business Doctors cofounders Matt Levington and Rod Davies inspired delegates, sharing what attracts people to buy into their franchise business, ‘people don’t buy what you do they buy the why’. They stressed the importance of their brand, citing brand awareness as the key reason people choose to become Business Doctor franchisees.

Thanks to Smith and Henderson’s Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme, franchise systems can work more effectively.  Franchisors know how they are performing, as well as how to improve their business, franchisee’s get to share their feedback and people looking to buy franchises can use this information to choose the right franchise for them.
