Adrian, who is halfway through his Really Awesome Coffee agreement, explains a bit more about his experience.
What was your background before Really Awesome Coffee?
‘Before taking on a Really Awesome Coffee franchise, my previous role was a financial advisor for a high street bank. I did however have a clear understanding of the mobile coffee industry and what was to be expected.’
How would you describe the training and support that was provided?
‘The level of support offered at the start was one of the reasons I decided to go with Really Awesome Coffee. The comprehensive training & launch package really helped me get up to speed and off to a winning start.’
‘It was extremely easy to get hold of the head office any time of the day if I needed help, support or answers to any questions I had.’
What aspects do you enjoy about running your franchise?
‘I love that I am in control of my own business as there is no corporate feel at all. One of the best bits about doing this is the friendships I have built with my customers and other traders.’
‘The response I get from my customers about the van and the coffee are all excellent. The van works very well allowing me to operate more efficiently on my daily round.’
‘I think the reason my customers are loyal is because I have worked hard and likened myself to a good landlord, I know soft facts about them plus their names and usual drinks.’
What advice would you give to others currently researching franchise opportunities?
‘For those who are considering franchising or the Really Awesome Coffee franchise I would say speak direct to current franchisees out there already doing the job.’
‘I have already completed half of my franchise agreement and I hope to extend this further when it comes to an end.’
