EWIF, Encouraging Women into Franchising, held their first regional meeting of 2016 yesterday (22 January).
The event was hosted by diddi dance franchisor Anne-Marie Martin in South East London.
The 15 attendees included franchisors, franchisees and franchise service providers and provided them with the opportunity to discuss women in franchising.
Who are EWIF?
EWIF is a not-for-profit organisation and their mission is to ‘inspire, encourage, educate and support women considering or involved in franchising through a network of Ambassadors.’
The group of London attendees had plenty of time to put their questions to the table and seek franchising advice from the group. The term ‘franchising’ was put under the microscope, with many members of the group agreeing that more needs to be done to improve public understanding of the term and the franchise industry as a whole.
How can you get involved?
EWIF are always looking for new members, so if you’re starting your journey into franchising and would like some advice and support, then get in touch and find out about a regional meeting near you.
